El pron\u00f3stico meteorol\u00f3gico era correcto, llovi\u00f3 todo el d\u00eda el d\u00eda siguiente, fuimos al Mercado Central de Riga.<\/strong><\/p>\n

El mercado estaba s\u00f3lo a 200 metros de nuestro hotel, en una gran calle, pero el ambiente era totalmente diferente al de la bonita vieja ciudad de Riga.<\/p>\n

Cada uno de los 5 edificios vend\u00eda una cosa diferente, bloque de carne, bloque de productos l\u00e1cteos, bloque de pescado y as\u00ed sucesivamente, la zona al aire libre de los edificios era la zona de verduras, las verduras estaban muy frescas y hab\u00eda mucha abundancia de bayas.<\/p>\n

Pod\u00edamos oler eneldo.<\/p>\n

El pan de Uzbek<\/strong> parec\u00eda muy popular, tanto que hab\u00eda cola para comprarlo.<\/p>\n

Me preguntaba si la gente que hab\u00eda, serian gente com\u00fan de Letonia.<\/p>\n

Hab\u00eda muchas mujeres mayores que llevaban ropas nada modernas y el lenguaje que escuch\u00e1bamos era Ruso.<\/p>\n

En el otro lado del mercado, vend\u00eda ropa incre\u00edblemente ins\u00edpida, supongo que debe haber demanda para aquella ropa.<\/p>\n

El mal tiempo podr\u00eda ser la raz\u00f3n que daba lugar a esa atm\u00f3sfera sombr\u00eda, pero nos pareci\u00f3 que la gente era pobre.<\/p>\n

Cuando caminamos m\u00e1s all\u00e1, hacia la Academia Letona de las Ciencias la cual se trataba de un edificio de arquitectura estalinista.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Este tipo de edificios est\u00e1n en Mosc\u00fa y Varsovia, tambi\u00e9n.<\/p>\n

El contexto hist\u00f3rico no era muy agradable, pero el edificio era fotog\u00e9nico.<\/p>\n

Junto a \u00e9l, hab\u00eda una iglesia Rusa, una ceremonia acababa de terminar, y mucha gente sali\u00f3, as\u00ed que nosotros entramos.<\/p>\n

Las mujeres ten\u00edan que llevar pa\u00f1uelos, y nos dijeron que en un quiosco nos prestar\u00edan uno, pero yo misma decid\u00ed usar la capucha de mi chaqueta, as\u00ed que la us\u00e9 y entr\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Hab\u00eda algunas personas besando los s\u00edmbolos religiosos, hab\u00edamos visto esto en numerosas ocasiones, pero esta vez sent\u00ed que estaban haci\u00e9ndolo de manera seria, m\u00e1s que en cualquier otro lugar.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
