La puesta de sol en aquel d\u00eda era a las 10.19pm. Ciertamente la vista era hermosa, con el vivo color de la luz suave. La Casa Blackheads es famosa, y casi siempre se utiliza para las fotos de Riga.<\/p>\n<p>La original fue construida en 1344 como el lugar de reuni\u00f3n para los miembros de <strong>\u201cLa fraternidad de la espinilla\u201d<\/strong> que era una asociaci\u00f3n para los<strong> comerciantes solteros.\u00a0<\/strong>Esta asociaci\u00f3n estuvo en pr\u00e1ctica desde el siglo XIV hasta 1940 en Letonia y Estonia. Los miembros eran juerguistas nocturnos y dicen que en su mejor momento, la realeza asisti\u00f3 a sus fiestas disfrazada.Despu\u00e9s de ser da\u00f1ado en 1941 el edificio fue demolido completamente por el gobierno sovi\u00e9tico 1948, pero los ciudadanos recordaban un refr\u00e1n medieval <strong>\u201cSi debo caer, construirme otra vez\u201d<\/strong> estaba escrito en la cima de la entrada, por lo que comenzaron a reconstruirla a finales de los a\u00f1os 90, completandola en el 2001.<\/p>\n<p>Afortunadamente ten\u00edan los planos, as\u00ed que fue construida exactamente como era antes. Actualmente no est\u00e1 abierto al p\u00fablico y se utiliza como oficina para el presidente de Letonia. Frente al edificio se encuentra la estatua <strong>de San Ronald, patr\u00f3n de Riga,<\/strong> levantando una espada en punta, all\u00ed se encuentra el centro de Riga. De all\u00ed nos movimos hacia<strong> el r\u00edo Daugava<\/strong> y cruzamos <strong>el puente Akmens<\/strong> caminando, y cuando miramos hacia el oeste el sol estaba justo en la cima del puente de Vansu. Fue una vista increible.
