El interior era bastante simple. \u00a0M\u00e1s tarde aprend\u00ed que <strong>durante la era sovi\u00e9tica<\/strong>, el servicio fue estrictamente prohibido y toda la decoraci\u00f3n fue despojada. En este claustro (foto) las cosas recolectadas procedentes de alg\u00fan lugar fueron exhibidas. En la Edad Media los m\u00e1s eminentes de la ciudad pagar\u00edan por ser enterrados lo m\u00e1s cerca posible del altar. Y en 1709, cuando la tercera parte de la poblaci\u00f3n fue asesinada por la peste, la gente pensaba que la raz\u00f3n de ello era porque los antepasados estaban enfadados porque las tumbas fueron inundadas en la iglesia.<br \/>\nEn 1884 completaron la construcci\u00f3n del gar \u00f3rgano de tubos que fue el m\u00e1s grande del mundo en aquellos tiempos, incluso hoy en d\u00eda, al parecer es el cuarto m\u00e1s grande. Por desgracia, estaban trabajando en \u00e9l y no pudimos ver lo grande que era.<\/p>\n<p>Despu\u00e9s de esta visita a la Catedral, buscamos los edificios llamados<strong> \u201cTres Hermanos\u201d<\/strong> los tres hist\u00f3ricos edificios, posicionados en una fila. Cuando llegamos, hab\u00eda un grupo guiado de japoneses y pude o\u00edr la gu\u00eda explicativa.<br \/>\nSeg\u00fan la gu\u00eda, los dos edificios de la izquierda eran residenciales, pero el derecho era originalmente un almac\u00e9n.<br \/>\nLa temperatura f\u00e1cilmente puede bajar a diez 10 bajo cero en invierno all\u00ed, pero en el interior siempre se mantuvo a 4 por encima de cero, adem\u00e1s la raz\u00f3n de el porqu\u00e9 las ventanas son peque\u00f1as es porque el mi puesto sobre la propiedad se decidi\u00f3 seg\u00fan el tama\u00f1o de las ventanas en la \u00e9poca medieval.<\/p>\n<p>Cuando estaba de pie y escuchando, un hombre del grupo me mir\u00f3 con recelo.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p> [ July2016 ] Apparently the cathedral in Riga is the largest church in the Baltic countries.
