{"id":158828,"date":"2015-06-27T17:00:00","date_gmt":"2015-06-27T17:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mirandalovestravelling.com\/?p=158828\/"},"modified":"2019-03-04T18:24:17","modified_gmt":"2019-03-04T18:24:17","slug":"portland-bill","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mirandalovestravelling.com\/es\/portland-bill\/","title":{"rendered":"Portland Bill"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[ May, 2015 ] Fuimos a<a href=\"https:\/\/mirandalovestravelling.com\/england-dorset\/\"> Portland Bill <\/a>el cual esta situado al sur de la Isla de Portland en Dorset,<a href=\"https:\/\/mirandalovestravelling.com\/location\/england\/\"> sur de Inglaterra.<\/a><br \/>\nLa famosa lucha mar\u00edtima de la Armada Espa\u00f1ola en 1588, que todos estudiamos en nuestras lecciones de historia, ocurrieron en <strong>el sur de este promontorio.<\/strong><br \/>\nHab\u00eda <a href=\"https:\/\/mirandalovestravelling.com\/england-dorset\/\">un gran faro.<\/a><br \/>\n\u00c9ste fue construido en 1906 y hab\u00eda otros dos que fueron construidos en el siglo XVIII.<br \/>\nAl parecer, esta zona es famosa historicamente por<strong> whipwrecks<\/strong>.<br \/>\nLa Isla de Portland es tambi\u00e9n famosa por su <a href=\"https:\/\/mirandalovestravelling.com\/england-dorset\/\">piedra de construcci\u00f3n,<\/a>\u00a0la cual fue utilizada en la catedral de St.Paul en Londres y en el edificio de Naciones Unidas en Nueva York.<br \/>\nNuestros amigos nos dijeron que en el pasado, cargaban la piedra en los barcos y la transportaban a trav\u00e9s <strong>del T\u00e1mesis<\/strong> a Londres.<br \/>\nCaminamos a contra viento y vimos a j\u00f3venes imprudentes saltando al mar desde los acantilados.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[ May, 2015 ] Fuimos a Portland Bill el cual esta situado al sur de la Isla de Portland en Dorset, sur de Inglaterra.
