[ Feb.2019 ] En el pasado cada vez que visitaba Greenwich, al sudeste de Londres<\/a>, mi prop\u00f3sito siempre era recorrer el Mercado Greenwich.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Esta vez nuestro prop\u00f3sito fue recorrer el pueblo, pero no nos pod\u00edamos ir sin visitar el mercado.<\/p>\n

Hay muchos puestos lindos de artesan\u00edas<\/strong> que son un placer para la vista, y tambi\u00e9n hay muchos puestos de comida.\"\"<\/p>\n

En la entrada dice que se abri\u00f3 en 1737 as\u00ed que debe ser un mercado hist\u00f3rico.<\/p>\n

Lo busqu\u00e9 online mas tarde y encontr\u00e9 que ten\u00eda un subsidio otorgado por el monarca el 19 de diciembre de 1700 y comenz\u00f3 a funcionar en 1737.<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan la informaci\u00f3n, para 1831 vend\u00edan animales vivos, carne, pescado, vegetales, etc.<\/p>\n

Al rededor del mercado vend\u00edan objetos de porcelana, vidrio, etc.<\/p>\n

Hab\u00eda inclusive un matadero al lado del mercado.<\/p>\n

Desde el principio el mercado fue administrado por el hospital de Greenwich.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fue un mercado de comida por un largo tiempo pero luego de la segunda guerra mundial fue decayendo gradualmente.<\/p>\n

En mayo de 1985 fue reactivado como un mercado de arte y artesan\u00edas.\"\"<\/p>\n

Ahora se encuentra abierto todos los d\u00edas<\/strong> y dependiendo el d\u00eda los puestos son diferentes.<\/p>\n

Algunos d\u00edas tienen mas puestos de antig\u00fcedades y otros d\u00edas puestos mas de moda.<\/p>\n

Hay hasta 120 puestos por d\u00eda.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Estuvimos all\u00ed un domingo y estaba lleno de gente.<\/p>\n

Algunas bufandas coloridas llamaron mi atenci\u00f3n as\u00ed que compr\u00e9 una.<\/p>\n

Es lindo comprar manualidades de las personas que las hacen porque pueden explicarte ciertas cosas personalmente.<\/p>\n

\"\"Luego de disfrutar del mercado nos fuimos a casa, pero antes de eso pasamos por el Cutty Sark.<\/strong><\/p>\n

El\u00a0 Cutty Sark es el velero construido en 1869 para transportar t\u00e9 de China a Inglaterra<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Esta clase de barco se llama T\u00e9 Clipper y aparentemente compet\u00edan entre si para ver cual llegaba mas r\u00e1pido.<\/p>\n

Se puede ver que importante era el t\u00e9 para los Brit\u00e1nicos desde aquellos tiempos.<\/p>\n

Si pag\u00e1s<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a313.50 (\u20ac15.75, $17.70) pod\u00e9s subir al Cutty Sark <\/strong>y ver un video que muestra su historia, tambi\u00e9n hay exhibiciones. Nosotros no lo hicimos.<\/p>\n

El Cutty Sark me record\u00f3 el incendio de mayo del 2007 as\u00ed que mir\u00e9 hacia arriba y vi que segu\u00edan haciendo trabajos de restauraci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Aparentemente la causa del incendio fue la aspiradora.<\/p>\n

Reci\u00e9n en 2012 el Cutty Sark fue restaurado en su mayor parte y reabierto al p\u00fablico.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Este fue el final de nuestra excursi\u00f3n a Greenwich.<\/p>\n

Como no visitamos el Hall Pintado ni el Fan Museum nos gustar\u00eda volver al pueblo.<\/p>\n
