[ Ago.2019 ] We stayed at Poldhu Guest House in St Ives in Cornwall<\/strong>, the south western end of England<\/a>. Nos hospedamos en Poldhu Guest House, St Ives, Cornwall<\/strong>, sudoeste de Inglaterra<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Vista desde la habitaci\u00f3n\u00a0<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Como decidimos ir a St Ives tarde, cuando tratamos de reservar una habitaci\u00f3n, la mayor\u00eda de los lugares ya estaban llenos, pero the guest house ten\u00eda una habitaci\u00f3n libre.<\/p>\n

Era un lugar muy simple.<\/p>\n

La ubicaci\u00f3n estaba buen\u00edsima.<\/p>\n

La entrada se encontraba por una calle llamada Fore Street.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cuando llegamos nuestra habitaci\u00f3n no estaba hecha as\u00ed que dejamos las valijas y nos fuimos a dar una vuelta.<\/p>\n

El lugar era administrado por Paul, el padre, y William, el hijo, que ten\u00eda al rededor de 10 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n

Hab\u00eda un ambiente amateur y trataban muy duro.<\/p>\n

Parec\u00eda que su habitaci\u00f3n privada era un apodo desordenada, pude espiarla. Pero la habitaci\u00f3n donde nos quedamos nosotros estaba impecable.<\/p>\n

El lugar era c\u00f3modo y agradable.<\/p>\n

Al d\u00eda siguiente, cuando hicimos el check out, el ni\u00f1o recibi\u00f3 la llave y parec\u00ed que sab\u00eda perfectamente que hacer cada vez que un hu\u00e9sped se iba.<\/p>\n

Estoy segura que cuando crezca va a ser un hombre muy capaz.<\/p>\n

Volviendo, luego de dejar las valijas, dimos un paseo por el pueblo.<\/p>\n

Nos dirigimos hacia la iglesia de piedra sobre la colina, que se pod\u00eda ver al final de Fore Street.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Desde que llegamos a St Ives el sol aparec\u00eda y desaparec\u00eda pero en ese momento comenz\u00f3 a llover fuerte.<\/p>\n

Ten\u00edamos paraguas pero la lluvia ca\u00eda de lado y ten\u00edamos los pantalones empapados.<\/p>\n

Luego de un rato la lluvia par\u00f3 y volvi\u00f3 a salir el sol.<\/p>\n

La vista era hermosa.<\/p>\n

La iglesia de piedra estaba cerrada pero hab\u00eda un cartel el la puerta que dec\u00eda que el nombre de la iglesia era St. Nicholas<\/strong> y \u00abse encuentra all\u00ed desde tiempos inmemoriales\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Nadie sabe cuando se construy\u00f3.<\/p>\n

Aparentemente fue parcialmente destruida en 1904 pero la reconstruyeron y restauraron a\u00f1os mas tarde.<\/p>\n

La oficina de guerra la quer\u00eda destruir porque se ve\u00eda en la colina, \u00bfpuede ser?<\/p>\n

Del otro lado de la colina hab\u00eda otra playa y hab\u00eda gente en el mar con trajes de neopreno.<\/p>\n

Aunque el color del agua era verde esmeralda, probablemente estaba muy fr\u00eda como para nadar solo con traje de ba\u00f1o.<\/p>\n

Luego de bajar la colina, nos alejamos del mar y nos dirigimos hacia el pueblo.<\/p>\n

Hab\u00edan tantos negocios lindos <\/strong>que no me cansaba de verlos.<\/p>\n

Anillo de thulita<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Not\u00e9 muchos negocios de joyas y piedras y entre ellos hab\u00eda uno que ten\u00eda una gran selecci\u00f3n.\u00a0 All\u00ed me compr\u00e9 un anillo de thulita, una piedra que nunca hab\u00eda visto.<\/p>\n

Se que es una piedra que se produce en Noruega y hab\u00eda esperado verla en nuestro viaje a Oslo en mayo<\/a> pero no vi ninguna.<\/p>\n

Por cierto, en Inglaterra parece haber mejores negocios de joyas con gemas en los pueblos.<\/p>\n
