[Junio \u200b\u200bde 2021] Nuestra estancia en Edimburgo<\/a> hab\u00eda casi llegado al final y nos quedaba poco tiempo para probar el whisky escoc\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

As\u00ed que por la tarde, nos dirigimos al casco antiguo a un museo, Scotch Whisky Experience<\/a> a lo largo de la Royal Mile.<\/strong><\/p>\n

En el museo, no solo puede aprender c\u00f3mo la cebada se convierte en whisky, sino que tambi\u00e9n es conocida por su colecci\u00f3n de casi 3400 whiskies escoceses.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tambi\u00e9n hay un restaurante que se llama \u00abAmber\u00bb<\/strong> para quien no quiere probar el whisky sin conocerlo, as\u00ed que fuimos directamente all\u00ed.<\/p>\n

Ya estuvimos aqu\u00ed hace 11 a\u00f1os, cuando visit\u00e9 Edimburgo por la primera vez con mi marido.<\/p>\n

En aquel tiempo, la degustaci\u00f3n se hacia a la barra, recib\u00edendo los consejos del bartender, as\u00ed que probamos varios escoceses y luego fuimos a la tienda para comprar los que nos gustaban, pero esta vez, quiz\u00e1s por las medidas de Covid, la degustaci\u00f3n se hizo en la mesa.<\/p>\n

Probamos la Colecci\u00f3n Islay (\u00a3 23.55) y la Colecci\u00f3n Speyside (\u00a3 29.20)<\/strong> con el Pot of Haggis como bocadillo.<\/p>\n

Cada colecci\u00f3n consta de cuatro tipos de whisky.<\/p>\n

Hay cuatro tipos de Colecci\u00f3n Islay: (1) Bowmore Islay 18 a\u00f1os (2) Edici\u00f3n de destiladores de Lagavulin (3) Bruichladdich Port Charlotte 10 a\u00f1os (4) Smokehead High Voltage.<\/p>\n

La colecci\u00f3n Speyside constaba de cuatro tipos: (5) The Balvenie 21st a\u00f1o Port Wood (6) The Glenlivet Nadurra Oloroso Cork (7) Benromach Organic (8) Glenfarclas 25th a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n

Los escrib\u00ed en un memo, as\u00ed como el orden de preferencia de sabor.<\/p>\n

Me gust\u00f3 \u2460\u2461\u2464, luego \u2466.<\/p>\n

Despu\u00e9s de eso, decidimos ir a la tienda del piso superior y comprar 3 botellas consultando el precio.<\/p>\n

Pero, cuando llegamos, encontramos la tienda cerrada.<\/p>\n

\u00a1Qu\u00e9 l\u00e1stima!<\/p>\n

Por cierto, este restaurante \u00abAmber\u00bb sirve aut\u00e9ntica cocina escocesa y degustaci\u00f3n de escoc\u00e9s.<\/strong><\/p>\n

El bono que obtuvimos hace 11 a\u00f1os segu\u00eda v\u00e1lido.<\/p>\n

Cuando salimos y bajamos por la Royal Mile, hab\u00eda una tienda de whisky que todav\u00eda estaba abierta, as\u00ed que entramos.<\/p>\n

El nombre es The Whisky Trail.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Un dependiente de aspecto oriental era agradable y simp\u00e1tico, y compramos tres botellas que nos recomend\u00f3, diciendo \u00abestos son los whiskies que no se pueden comprar en los supermercados\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Esos son Islay Storm, Spey Tenn\u00e9 y Finlaggan.<\/p>\n

Entonces, todos mis esfuerzos registrando lo que nos gust\u00f3 al final fueron un desperdicio, pero estoy satisfecho porque pudimos probarlos bien en esta tienda y comprar los que nos gustaron.<\/p>\n

Las botellas fueron enviadas a nuestra casa en Londres unos d\u00edas despu\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Un par de d\u00edas despu\u00e9s, cuando regres\u00e1bamos a casa, hab\u00eda muchos whiskies en fila en la tienda del aeropuerto de Edimburgo, y cuando los miramos para comprar una botella adicional, vino un dependiente y pregunt\u00f3: \u00ab\u00bfA d\u00f3nde vuelas hoy?\u00bb<\/p>\n

Cuando respond\u00ed: \u00abRegresaremos a Londres\u00bb, dijo, \u00absi te vas a quedar en el Reino Unido, no podemos vender estos whiskies\u00bb.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Esto se debe al Brexit (la salida de Gran Breta\u00f1a de la UE).<\/p>\n

El Brexit tambi\u00e9n afecta a este tipo de cosas.<\/p>\n
