Modra
Located at the foot of the Little Carpathians, just thirty kilometres from Bratislava, Modra is one of Slovakia’s most charming historic towns. Modra is also closely associated with Ľudovít Štúr, one of Slovakia’s most influential national figures, who spent his final years here. His former home has been transformed into a museum dedicated to Slovak language, literature and national identity.
