Vietnam is one of Southeast Asia’s most fascinating destinations, a country where a rich history, spectacular landscapes and deeply rooted traditions come together to create an unforgettable travel experience. Stretching for more than 1,600 kilometres along the South China Sea, Vietnam offers an extraordinary variety of scenery, from the mountains of the north and terraced rice fields to imperial cities, tropical beaches and the fertile Mekong Delta. Many journeys begin in Hanoi, the capital, famous for its Old Quarter, Hoàn Kiếm Lake, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and historic temples. Among Vietnam’s most iconic destinations are Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its thousands of limestone islands, the imperial city of Huế, the beautifully preserved historic town of Hội An, also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the vibrant metropolis of Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), the scenic Mekong Delta, the terraced rice fields of Sa Pa, and the beaches of Da Nang, Nha Trang and Phú Quốc Island. Each region offers its own distinctive landscapes, traditions and flavours.
During our travels we discovered a Vietnam full of contrasts, where ancient traditions blend naturally with vibrant modern cities. Cruising through Ha Long Bay, wandering the lantern-lit streets of Hội An, exploring Hanoi’s temples, travelling across the Mekong Delta and experiencing local culture allowed us to appreciate a country that is authentic, welcoming and constantly evolving. Every destination offers unforgettable experiences and a different perspective on Vietnam.
