Iran is one of the most fascinating cultural destinations in the Middle East, a country with a history that stretches back thousands of years. Many journeys begin in Tehran, where museums, palaces and modern neighbourhoods introduce visitors to the country’s complex identity. Yet some of Iran’s most memorable places are found in cities such as Isfahan, Shiraz and Yazd. Walking through bazaars, visiting caravanserais, exploring historic gardens and observing daily life helped us understand a culture deeply connected to its past.
