Santa Fe de Antioquia

Santa Fe de Antioquia is one of Colombia’s best-preserved colonial towns and one of the highlights of the Antioquia region. Founded in the sixteenth century as the province’s first capital, the town has retained its cobbled streets, whitewashed buildings, historic churches and peaceful squares, offering visitors an authentic glimpse into Colombia’s colonial heritage. Located just a short drive from Medellín, it is one of the region’s most rewarding day trips.

The beautifully preserved historic centre invites visitors to stroll among colonial mansions with wooden balconies, flower-filled courtyards and elegant churches.
