Ukraine is the largest country located entirely in Europe and is home to an extraordinary historical, cultural and natural heritage. Stretching across vast plains, crossed by major rivers and bordered by the Black Sea, Ukraine has long been a meeting point of different cultures and civilizations. Its historic cities, monasteries, castles, traditional villages and beautiful landscapes tell a story that spans more than a thousand years. Despite the challenges of recent years, Ukraine continues to preserve a remarkable artistic and cultural legacy.

Many traditional journeys began in Kyiv, the capital, renowned for Saint Sophia Cathedral, the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra (Monastery of the Caves) and its broad boulevards overlooking the Dnipro River. Other remarkable destinations include Lviv, whose historic centre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Odesa, the country’s historic Black Sea port, Kamianets-Podilskyi, famous for its impressive medieval fortress, and the Carpathian Mountains, a popular destination for hiking, winter sports and traditional mountain villages. Throughout the country, travellers can also discover national parks, monasteries, fortresses and landscapes that reflect the diversity of Ukraine’s regions, each with its own traditions, architecture and cuisine.

During our travels we discovered a Ukraine rich in history, culture and hospitality. Walking through historic centres, visiting monasteries and museums, exploring castles, natural landscapes and cities with centuries of history allowed us to appreciate a country with a strong cultural identity. The warmth of its people, the diversity of its scenery and the richness of its heritage make Ukraine an unforgettable destination.
