In Hida Takayama in Japan, we saw this doll called Sarubobo many times. It seemed the mascot of the town. This was my second visit to Takayama after about 20 years and I do not remember seeing this doll last time, so probably it started recently.
On the second day in Hida Takayama in Japan, we reluctantly started off to the town from the hotel room which we had to check out at 10am, though to be hoenest, since we ate and drank too much the night before, we wanted to stay in bed.
