[ Apr.2009 ] There is a gorgeous post office in the new town of Sarajevo.
It is like a kind of palace.
I wanted to post my picture cards to Japan and the UK.
They said they cost 1 mark (about 0.5 euro) each wherever you send.
I thought that was too cheap and might not arrive, but arrived in Japan safely in 10 days.
The currency there was called Mark, and written as KM.
The exchange rate was fixed as 1 euro = 1.95 KM in those days.
