[ Apr.2016 ] We went to Bordeaux in France for the bank holiday weekend, though we stayed there only for two nights because we could not take extra holidays. But it was a quite full holiday. I think it was a good idea that we booked the tours online beforehand. So the first thing we did was to go to the tourist office to confirm our bookings. It was a good thing that we went, because although the booking had been accepted, I found that I had not got the confirmation email which we had to show to the tour operators. And the meeting place was different from the one we saw in the internet.
After this work, we went in to the opera house called Grand Theatre which was just near the tourist office. Apparently Charles Garnier, who built the Paris Opera House, was inspired by this theatre. But this one was much simpler. We asked if we could see some performances, but tickets were sold out. The shop in the theatre was pretty with hanging tutus.
