Had a rest in a park

[ June, 2013 ] This time in Paris I could not enjoy shopping, so I went to a park and sat to watch people.

This is the famous Tuileries Garden.

This was created originally as a garden of the Tuileries Palace in the mid-16th century.

The queen at that time made it like a garden in Florence in Italy where she was from.

But 100 years later, a famous gardener, Andre Le Notre changed it to a French style garden.

The palace itself was destroyed at the time of Paris Commune in 1871.

10 days after the day I spent some time there, I flew over Paris by an aeroplane.

It was a fine day and I could see Paris clearly.

I could even recognise the fountain where I sat for a while.
