[ Dec.2008 ] The last destination of our Tuinisian tour was Djerba island.
The normal itinerary was flying back to Tunis without staying here, but we thought we should stay as we came all the way here.
We crossed the sea by ferry.
It took long time because of a traffic jam to get on it.
While we were waiting, I saw one man, who looked like a member of the Mafia (well, when people around here take out their costume and wear ordinary suit, they somewhat look like Mafia people we see in films), got out of a French number car and put his own rug down on the ground and started praying.
I got very surprised and could not help myself staring at him.
When we arrived at the hotel in the island, we said good-bye to Sala, our driver.
He was going back all the way to Tozeur where we stayed for the first night.
Djerba is a resort island where a lot of Europeans come and stay during summer.
We stayed one of those typical resort hotels and had the Thalassotherapy which is famous around here.
The person who did it to us was a man who looks like “a young man of a colony who pleases middle aged women of their suzerain”, according to my friend.
