[ Aug.2013 ] After visiting Santorini, we moved to Naxos this summer.
This time the boat was large even with some cabins.
It took about 2 hours.
Naxos is the biggest island in Cyclades Islands in Greece.
They have been thriving with agriculture (particularly potatos) and also they produce marbles, so they do not depend on tourism as some other islands.
Tourists started coming to the island in 1970s and it is an extra income for the island.
We could see the beautiful sunset from the verandah of our room in the hotel.
Around here in Greece, they have sunny days everyday in summer and the beautiful sunset is promised.
