[May,2011] Northern Europe is known being expensive.
It is really so.
For the dinner, we chose a restaurant from my guide book to enjoy seafood.
The foods were good, but not that good to be happy with the price we paid.
Partly because of the current exchange rate, but everything is amazingly expensive.
Only people who can afford the price are Russian tourists and the pretty shops along the narrow street in the old town were full of them.
The main language spoken there was Russian, as shops are employing Russian people to cope with them.
Well, the shopping is a very important element of travelling and because I cannot enjoy that, I must say that Northern Europe is less attractive as a destination…
