[april 2012] The second place we went in the Gyeongju was a temple called Bulguksa.
The wooden building was rebuilt in the 16th century, but the stone staircase was original one from around year 751.
In Korea, it seems that a round thing shows spiritual world of Budda and a square thing represents people’s real world.
Also, I learned that the bright green colour used in temples means charm against the bad spirit.
In Portugal, blue was the colour for the charm.
