[August 2012] We joined the boat trip over the Bosporus in Istanbul.
During this trip we saw this Bosporus Bridge.
It was completed in 1971.
For a while pedestrians could cross over, but because there were so many people committed suicide, they decided to forbid them to cross.
The length of this bridge is about 1.5 km and the height is 64m.
There is another Bosporus bridge a bit further from the city, which is newer.
