[May, 2011] This is the first site I visited in this trip to the Puglia in south Italy.
This castle is one of the World Heritage places in Italy.
Frederic 2 built it in 1240, but nobody knows why.
It stands on the hill and probably it is to show his power at that time.
When I visited, it was the floral season, and the scent of purple flowers were overwhelming.
