[April, 2006] Visiting Sami people’s house through travel agent was one of the highlights of our trip to Finland 2006.
They showed us their colourful costumes and then let us wear their reindeer fur boots as you can see from the photo.
They put some grass to keep warm, but the fur was thin.
We walked around on the ice and snow but the boots really kept warmth and never got cold or wet, which was very surprising.
