Unexpectedly lively mosque

Unexpectedly lively mosque

[August 2012] Our Turkey tour came to Bursa.

Here we visited Ulu Mosque (Grand Mosque) with my scarf on.

It is a large mosque with a faountain in the centre.

In any mosques, men and women are separated.

According to our guide, when they pray, they get up and down in Islamic religion and if a woman moves next to you, a man’s mind would be filled with wrong thought.

Therefore, they are separated.

I wonder if it is true…

I thought mosques are holy places, but here, there were a lot of families with young children who were running around, screaming.

It looked more like a park or something.
