[August, 2011] This is the statue of Sophia in Sofia, the capital city of Bulgaria.
According to my guide book, there used to be a statue of Lenin here, but removed in 1989.
Now Sophia is there as an apolitical symbol of the city.
The hight is as much as 24 metre apparently.
