[Dec.2012] On the day we had a walk in Kamakura, we had a lunch at a small restaurant on the sea front.
The main dish was whitebait on rice, which is a special meal around here.
The cooked ones and the raw ones were half and half on the rice.
You cannot eat this kind of dish almost nowhere else.
I enjoyed it very much.
We had Kamakura Beer, which was good, too.
I learned afterwards that it is the closed season for whitebait from 1 Jan.
to 10 March, so I was just in time 😉
