[ Feb.2013 ] The last day of our stay in Malta, we went to a pretty fishing town of Marsaxlokk, which is south east of the island.
It is a picturesque town with the natural port and full of the traditional colourful boats.
It was Sunday and the market was on.
I remembered that I saw a big octopus wriggling its body last time I was there more than 10 years ago, and this time, too, there was his offspring (?) there.
By the way, the famous Malta Summit between Gorbachev and Bush was held in a boat anchored off Marsaxlokk in 1989 and the Cold War was officially ended.
