We visited the National Museum of Archeology in Valletta, Malta and met the fat lady again.
She is a figure dug out from 5000 years old ruin.
She is not on her own, but there were a lot of them, showing how the Maltese people in the past worshipped fat women, seeing them as a symbol of the wealth.
Well, I was born in a wrong place and the wrong time….
This museum is not big, but when we were there, the majority of the visitors were Japanese.
The first time I visited Malta, I saw a group of Japanese tourists there, too, but this time the number seemed increased a lot.
Not only group tourists, but also individual visitors.
I did not know that Malta was so popular in Japan, so it was a bit of surprise to me.
