[ Aug.2014 ] Shopping in Asakusa in Tokyo is exciting.
At a glance, the shops there do not look sophisticated, but if you search them, you will make a lucky find or two.
On top of that, because most shops are under private management, the owner may decide the price on the spot.
For example, this time, we found some bags on the display attractive, so we went into a shop and found nice leather jackets of a big discount price.
When we were comparing them with a bit more expensive ones, the owner said “I can give the same discount price for that, too”.
And when my family found a small flaw on the jacket I liked, he gave me even bigger discount saying “we cannot sell a jacket with this price as a rule, but I put this as a bag in my record”.
This is the real enjoyment of shopping.
Generally, when I buy something very expensive, I feel a kind of happiness, but this was another kind of great satisfaction.
