[March 2012] Kingston upon Thames is situated southwest of London.
It was apparently a ancient market town and even now, the outdoor market seems successful.
A peaceful and lively town with children playing around the fountain, a street performer playing the out of tune violin and flock of swan was gathering on the Thames.
