[ Apr.2014 ] This is a photo of Martisor.
In Romania, mainly men give women this object on the first of March to celebrate the arrival of spring.
It is made of red and white threads with a bit of accessory.
The people who received one wear it for a month and on the 31st of March, they tie it on a branch of a tree.
By doing that, their health is promised for a coming year.
Very nice custom, isn’t it.
We found this in the garden of Cozia Monastery.
This monastery is in Valcea County and around here there are many monasteries like in Moldavia region.
We went in to the church here and found the religious paintings all over the wall inside.
When I see this kind of church, I remember a Japanese story called Hoichi the Earless.
