[August, 2010] For me, holiday and travelling has almost the same meaning, but for many people those two words are very different.
For majority of Italian people, holiday or vacanza means doing nothing on the beach.
Also it seems to mean that to spend time with family.
When you go to restaurants in the resort area, the tables are booked for 7 to 12 people.
They spend holiday with not only your own family, but also with your aunt’s family, too.
