[ July, 2014 ] There is a place you can go down to the beach and look up the famous white cliff in England.
The place is called Birling Gap.
When you get off the bus and walk towards the sea, you can find a staircase to go down from the cliff to the sea.
The view from the beach was also gorgeous.
This place is managed by National Trust, a British charity which protects historical buildings and beauty spots.
There were a row of some houses, last of which was just on the edge of the cliff.
They were built in 1878 as coastguards houses.
Because of the coastal erosion, already some of the houses were removed, but peole apparently still live in the remaining ones.
The erosion is so fast that the remaining houses would be removed soon.
It is a very beautiful place for visitors, but for the people living there, it must be frightening.
