[ Aug.2014 ] A friend of mine invited us to visit Olympic Park, which has been being built since the Olympic game in 2012 in London finished.
The official name is Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
Last time when we had a walk around here which is east part of London, this park was still closed.
Now it is open to public, but still, I had a feeling that it is not quite ready, for example, the stadium was under construction.
But on Saturday we went, the park was bustling with many people with children.
We went into the velodrome which opened last March.
This was the first time for me to see it and I was surprised to see how steep the slope of the course was.
Everyone can try cycling there and get a brief training, if you want.
The stadium will be the site of Rugby World Cup in October next year and then from 2016 on, it will be the home ground of West Ham football team.
It used be poor and shabby around here in London, but now there is the largest shopping centre in European Union and many new flats are being built.
Now the house price around here is very high, they say.
