[December, 2011] This is a restaurant I went in Evora in Portugal.
In this country, the starters are brought to you without your asking them, which I experienced in Porto in the north of Portugal, too.
They are sometimes simply a cheese, but sometimes, like here, three dishes including bean salad and cod roe.
And the main dish here is always meat, mainly pork.
The typical dish from this region is pork and clams stewed together.
I tried this once, but to be honest, I could not see any point those two ingredients had to be together…
