[ June, 2013 ] This is a cafe in Paris near Opera de Paris Garnier.
There was a notice outiside saying ‘We speak Russian’ and surely they were taking orders from the Russian tourists who sat next to me in Russian.
I thought French people have strong feeling towards their own language and don’t dare to speak in English even though they can.
Doesn’t it matter if it is Russian? Or ‘necessity knows no law’ ? I had a mixed feeling and thought I should have studied Russian more properly.
