[ May, 2013 ] The clock in this photo is Eastgate Clock in Chester in England.
Both my guide book and online information say that this is the second most photographed clock in Britain after Big Ben.
It is situated at the place where Romans made a gate for their fortress, This clock has got 4 faces on each direction.
It was constructed in 1899 for the memory of Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee which was two years before.
It is a part of Roman wall surrounding the city and you can walk on the wall all around.
I walked just about a half of it.
If you walk all the way, it is 3.2 km apparently.
It is a nice walking course as you can see the various aspect of the city from higher up position.
