Green Ground

Green Ground

[June 2012]  When we went to see the Hadrian’s Wall, I enjoyed English countryside a lot.

The most impressive thing there was ‘ green’.

Because they have a lot of rain, the ground is always green.

We often call our ground ‘ Green Ground’ in Japan, but when you think about all over the world, you notice it is rather rare.

A lot of places have dusty soil on their ground and the desert is vast.

For a tourist, the rain is a nuisance, but it is really precious.

Another thing I thought during this trip was that the human being has not changed very much.

Although Hadrian’s Wall or Great Wall of China is an ancient history, the Berlin Wall was there until recently and they still have a wall at the West Bank working exactly like Hadrian’s Wall.

I wish people learn a bit better…
