[ Mar.2014 ] There is a room called Chapter Chamber at the end of the cathedral of Toledo, Spain.
Here there were a row of the portraits of successive archbishops.
Of course the earliest ones were painted with imaginations, but from 13th century on, they were apparently the real people.
And from 1930s on, everyone had a pair of spectacles on, they could be used for an advert for a spectacles shop.
There were 17 spaces left for the future archbishops.
What are they going to do after that…?
