Village with a stork

Village with a stork

[ Nov.2014 ] In the excursion from Monsanto, Portugal we went to a village called Idanha-a-Velha.

It is a very old village which has a long history since 16 AD.

Therefore there were a lot of ruins.

We had a look at the museum with the machines that people used for making olive oil.

But for me I remember this village as a place where a stork was nesting.

We wanted to see the Roman bridge there, too, but the Manuel did not understand us, or he was not interested in it, so it was omitted.
