[ Dec.2015 ] We took another ‘lift’ this time to go up to the Concepcion Hill in Valparaiso in Chile.
Here I found a colourful light-hearted atmosphere which I had read in the guide book.
People here seemed not satisfied with those colourful houses and they must have felt that they should not leave any walls empty.
So there were many murals all over the area.
Our tour leader was saying that every time he came here, he found more murals.
We saw some people working on the murals, too.
And close to that wall, we found painted stairs and on them it said ” We are not hippies, we are happies”.
I nearly forgot to say that Valparaiso is listed as the World Heritage of UNESCO.
During this travelling in South America, I saw hardly any Japanese tourists, but I came across two young women’s groups here.
