[May, 2013 ] We visited Viktualienmarkt in Munich, which is a market in which they sell good quality foods.
But what caught my eye was the stalls which were selling lots of straw dolls.
They sell not only dolls but also some household things, but the dolls were definitely special.
They are very well made.
There were many stalls like this.
Straw dolls are often used for cursing traditionally in Japan, but these dolls here were happy ones.
I do not know if these are special in Munich or popular all over Germany.
I do not think we see this any other countries.
In the market there was a beer garden.
Needless to say, more people were here than the stalls area.
