[ May 2016 ] On the way back from our weekend in northern England, we visited Liverpool just for a few hours. I have been living in the UK for a long time, but this was my first time to visit this city. We walked around the waterfront area which was redeveloped not long ago and went to the restaurant in the Maritime Museum, which was recommended by our friends. I chose very British roast beef and very sweet Spotted Dick. The restaurant was very big and we could find the table without booking. Certainly it is a good unknown spot.
Around this area, there are many museums, but after lunch we decided to go and have a ride on the Ferris wheel, which we saw from the restaurant. To my surprise, the wheel was exactly the same as the one in Brighton which we went only a week before. It was a fun to look over at the town from the height of 60 metres. This time our visit to Liverpool ended here, but I would like to go there again and do the proper sight seeing there. By the way, the Liver for Liverpool is a bird, I learned.
