Bonfire

Bonfire

[December, 2011] In Girald square in Evora, the main city in Alentejo in Portugal, they were having a bonfire.

There was a big tree lying next to it to put some wood into it.

We asked the person in the tourist office if this is a kind of festival, but she simply said, ‘ oh, that is just because it is cold.

We do that every year’.

The people around the fire was all middle to old aged men.
