[ Nov.2014 ] When we went out in Monsant in Portugal at night for dinner, the village was totally dark and quiet.
Nobody was walking.
We went to a restaurant which was listed in our guide book, but it was closed.
At this time of the year in November, there may be some visitors for a day, but not many seemed to be staying over night.
Reluctantly we went to the canteen of our accommodation.
Maybe because this was the only place which was open, the small room was full up.
The owner brought a small table for us to make our space.
This place seemed not only a canteen, but a rendezvous for drifters.
Altogether there were 6 people, some of which were singing with the guitar and some were their friends.
They were from different places such as America, UK and Russia.
I wondered if the street performer we saw in summer would spend winter at places like this.
