[ July, 2013 ] On top of Mt.Ai-Petri was Tatars world, totally different from the lower ground.
There were a lot of souvenir shops and restaurants there.
The souvenirs include woollen socks, fur waistcoats, slippers and so on.
The atmosphere reminded me of west part of China I had visited long time ago.
Crimean Tatar are descended from Genghis Khan and has lived here since 13th century.
But when Crimea became a part of Russia in 1783, a lot fled to Turkey and after WW2 Stalin forced them to move to Central Asia, there were not Tatar left in Crimea for a while.
In 1980s, they started coming back here slowly.
We went into one of the restaurants there and ate Shurpa, a soup with lamb and vegetable, Shashlik and Baklava for lunch.
The sea side of Ai-Petri is a sheer cliff, but the inland is gentle.
People were enjoying horse riding there.
On the way back, we took the road which is a part of Yalta Rally, which was a fun.
My sleepiness after the meal blew off.
