[ Jan.2016 ] We flew from Foz do Iguacu Airport which was small and messy to Sao Paulo.
We arrived there without any problems, but when we got there, there were no people to meet us.
Our tour leader said that he had a same experience in his previous tour, so he had sent an email to make sure that someone would meet us.
In the end, we had to wait for about one hour.
Finally the driver arrived and said that he went to a wrong gate.
That is not a good excuse, is it.
I felt that I saw one aspect of this country and started worrying about the Olympics.
Now, we started driving and it lasted as long as 4 and a half hours.
We did not go into Sao Paulo, but went to a pretty small town called Paraty.
On the way, we stopped at this service area in the photo and had some snacks.
On top of this kitsch interior, the TV was showing an Indian drama.
After this break, we went onto smaller local road towards the sea and passed many small villages.
