Rich yoghurt

Rich yoghurt

[August 2012] Burgarian yoghurt is famous, but in Turkey, which is situated next door, yoghurt is eaten a lot, too.

When we stopped for the toilet break between Pamukkale and Konya, I tried the special one from around this region.

It was so rich that it was stuck to the plate, and the shop staff made the plate up side down to demonstrate how thick and sticky the yoghurt was.

They put honey and the poppy seeds on it.

It tasted good, so I ate nearly all though it was very heavy and afterwards I had a bit of upset stomach.

Around this area, they produce a lot of rose (again same as Burgaria) and sell oils and creams there.

The soap in the hotel in Konya smelled wonderful rose fragrance.
