[September, 2011] One of our purposes of this trip to Kiev was to see a ballet performance in the National Opera House.
Kiev ballet company used to be one of the top 3 companies in Soviet Union.
I might have expected too much, but to be honest I found them not so good.
When Ukraine became independent, people’s mind may have got away from Russia deliberately and stopped putting a lot of energy or money on ballet.
The programme was out-of -season ‘The Nutcracker’ .
Our seat were one of the bests and I enjoyed in general anyway.
