[February, 2012] We went to a shopping centre called Westfield in Shepherds Bush, west London.
This was open in 2008 as the biggest shopping centre in Europe, but I did not go there until recently.
Apparently it has got the size of 150,000 ㎡ and there are 265 shops in it.
There is a good cinema, too.
I remember in 1990s new shopping centres were built one after another outside of London, but now they are inside London and facing the competition against West End in London.
This one is already 4 years old, but still nice and clean, and a lot of restaurants, which gave me a good impression.
They are open until 10 pm.
The same company, Westfield has built another even bigger shopping centre in the east part of London, near Olympic centre last year.
I do not think I would go all the way there, but that one is the biggest in Europe now.
